The summer associate program typically starts the Tuesday following Memorial Day. We ask that our summer associates commit to spending a minimum of nine weeks with the firm. Throughout the duration of the summer, you will gain valuable hands-on work experience and build meaningful connections with the attorneys at our firm.
Fostering your long-term growth and development is one of our top priorities, and our retention rate is highly indicative of this. In the last 6 years, most of our summer associates have accepted a position at Clyde & Co following the completion of the summer program.

Diversity & Inclusion at Clyde
We recognize that creating an inclusive culture is vital to the success of our business. It is crucial that our people feel happy, respected, and able to be their whole selves at work. Having a workforce that brings a variety of backgrounds and experiences will help us harness the power of different perspectives to better innovate, problem solve, and drive change.
We are proud to have achieved Mansfield Rule 4.0 certification in the US. The Mansfield Rule aims to boost the representation of diverse lawyers in the law firm leadership positions by broadening the pool of candidates considered for these opportunities.
Inclusion Matters Scholarship
As a part of our ongoing commitment to promote diversity, the firm is proud to offer the Inclusion Matters Scholarship. Through this $15,000 scholarship, we aim to support students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds.
